Perilla Artisanal Soap No.104T is handmade by cold process, with perilla leaf powder (Perilla frutescens) and the essential oil blend No.104T Peaceful Breath.

An 11 ingredient formula, led by fine dried perilla leaf powder, with neem seed oil, shea butter and cocoa butter. Natural glycerin formed during saponification holds moisture, so skin does not feel dry after bathing. For face and body, suited to sensitive skin.

Fine lather. A soft herbal scent with a hint of tea tree wood. Skin feels clean yet soft, not tight.

PERILLA SOAP, No.104T

Perilla (Perilla frutescens), a familiar herb in East Asian cooking and traditional medicine, is used as a fine dried-leaf powder in Lê Mai Vietnam's soap formula. Paired with essential oil blend No.104T, Perilla soap offers gentle cleansing, suited to sensitive, easily irritated skin and skin in recovery.

Suitable skin types

Sensitive skin, skin prone to itching, mild eczema or allergy-related hives (pollen, dust, smoke, insects, sunlight). Suitable for face and body. Not recommended for open wounds or acutely inflamed skin.

How to use

Wet your skin and the soap bar with warm water
Work into a lather in your hands or on a bath sponge; massage gently over the skin to cleanse
Rinse with clean water and pat dry with a soft towel
Daily use for the whole body; 1–2 times a day on the face as needed

Safety notes

Perilla soap contains essential oil blend No.104T, including wintergreen (Gaultheria procumbens), which is high in methyl salicylate:

Pregnant and breastfeeding women: consult a doctor before use
Children under 10: not recommended for direct use on the face
Sensitive skin: do a patch test on the wrist 24h before first use
Avoid direct contact with eyes; if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with clean water
Stop use if the skin shows any unusual irritation

Storage instructions

Shelf life: 12 months from the date of manufacture; 6 months after opening.

Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place, at a temperature below 30°C. Avoid direct sunlight and high humidity. After use, place the soap on a draining dish to dry naturally.
