Piper Betle Leaf Artisanal Soap No.105 is handmade by the cold process. Fresh betel leaf juice (Piper betle) replaces distilled water, with betel leaf essential oil, matcha and turmeric powder.

The formula has 15 ingredients, adding neem seed oil and cocoa butter. Suited to acne prone skin and dark spots, for face and body. Natural glycerin keeps moisture in and does not dry the skin after bathing.

A lightly pungent, spicy betel leaf scent, cool green matcha, warm turmeric. After bathing, the skin feels clean and smooth.

Betel Leaf (Piper betle) is a treasured herb in Vietnamese folk medicine, known for its antibacterial, antifungal and wound-healing properties. Lê Mai's Betel Leaf soap uses Fresh betel leaf juice in place of distilled water, combined with Betel leaf essential oil, Matcha and Turmeric powder; a Vietnamese herbal treatment for acne-prone and dark-spotted skin.

How to use

Wet your skin and the soap bar with warm water
Work into a lather in your hands or on a bath sponge; massage gently over the skin to cleanse
Rinse with clean water and pat dry with a soft towel
Use 1 to 2 times a day on the face; once a day on the body

Safety notes

Betel leaf essential oil contains eugenol and chavicol; it may cause mild irritation on sensitive skin with prolonged contact. The concentration in the soap is within safe limits for bathing and is rinsed off immediately.

Pregnant or breastfeeding women and children under 2: consult a doctor before use
Sensitive skin: do a patch test on the wrist 24h before first use
Avoid direct contact with eyes; if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with clean water

Storage instructions

Shelf life: 12 months from the date of manufacture; 6 months after opening.

Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place, at a temperature below 30°C. Avoid direct sunlight and high humidity. After use, place the soap on a draining dish to dry naturally.
