Betel Leaf Essential Oil No.108 キンマの葉

Betel leaf, Piper betle. Green, pungent, hard to mistake for anything else.

Steam distilled essential oil from fresh betel leaves grown in Vietnam. A herbal middle note: it opens green and slightly peppery, then turns into a rich, warm, slightly medicinal herb. It recalls soil, sun and a garden yard.

In a diffuser, use 2 to 4 drops with a wood oil such as sandalwood or agarwood.

On skin, dilute to no more than 0.5% in a carrier oil such as jojoba or almond; never apply undiluted. Not for use during pregnancy, by children under 12 or by people with liver conditions. Store in a dry, dark place below 25°C.
