Star Anise Essential Oil is a single-note essential oil from the brand Lê Mai Vietnam, steam distilled from the fruit of Illicium verum harvested in Vietnam. Scent SPICY warm, sweet spice, the signature of Asian kitchens and the festive season.

How to use

Diffusing (Aromatherapy): add 3–5 drops to a diffuser with 100ml water; use for 30–60 minutes at a time, 2–3 times a day.
Diluted on skin (Topical): max dilution 1% with a carrier oil (jojoba, coconut, almond), equivalent to 6 drops essential oil in 30ml of carrier oil. Use to massage the abdomen and feet.
Room diffusion: add 2–3 drops to a bowl of hot water or an oil burner; breathe gently for 5–10 minutes.
Scent blend: combine with sweet orange, cinnamon, clove or cedarwood to create a distinctive warm spice blend.

Safety notes

Maximum 1% dilute before applying to skin (about 6 drops in 30ml carrier oil). Do not apply undiluted essential oil to the skin. Patch test on the inner wrist for 24 hours before first use. Avoid eyes, mucous membranes and open wounds.

Not for use on pregnant and breastfeeding women and children under 2. Star Anise essential oil does not cause photosensitivity (not phototoxic).

Storage instructions

Shelf life: 36 months from the date of manufacture; 12 months after opening.

Store in a dry, dark place below 25°C. Avoid direct sunlight and high heat. Close the cap tightly after use and keep the bottle upright.
