An essential oil blend that is aromatic, medicinal and woody. Clean herbs, sweet sassafras root and arborvitae. Blended by hand, balanced across three layers.

Top notes: coriander seed, holy basil. Middle notes: rosemary, thyme. Base notes: sassafras, arborvitae, lemon eucalyptus.

Warm spicy coriander and sweet spicy holy basil open. The heart is cool rosemary and hot thyme. The base is deep sweet sassafras, arborvitae and cool lemon eucalyptus.

For diffusing to scent a room, freshening the air in cold months, meditation or light steam inhalation. Pure essential oil, nothing added.

Blend #113 is an essential oil from the brand Lê Mai Vietnam, with the Mountain Forest Air scent tone a cleansing herbal bouquet with sweet sassafras root and highland arborvitae pine, evoking a misty mountainside at dawn when medicinal herbs are in bloom. Hand blended in balance across Top, Middle and Base: it opens warm and spicy with herbs, warms the heart, and ends on a deep, sweet woody root base.

Top, warm herbal spice:

Coriander seed, warm spicy coriander with a light boozy note, herbal seed
Holy basil eugenol, sweet, spicy and sacred, warm and balancing

Middle, a camphor heart:

Rosemary — cool camphor, refreshes the mind, clears the sinuses
Thyme : thymol, sharp and tingling, a classic antibacterial

Base, a woody base of highland pine root:

Sassafras: Sassafras root, sweet root beer/sarsaparilla, a deep sweet signature base
Cypress : highland Thuja/Cypress needles, deep, sacred pine wood
Lemon eucalyptus — citronellal, fresh and minty, cleanses the air

How to use

Diffusion (Aromatherapy), MAIN RECOMMENDATION: add 4–8 drops to a diffuser or oil burner; use for 30–60 minutes at a time, 2–3 times a day in a well-ventilated space.
Steam inhalation: add 1–2 drops to a bowl of hot water, cover your head with a towel and breathe for 3–5 minutes (eyes closed). No more than once a day.
For purifying candles: use 2% blend in candle wax to create a purifying signature scent for your space.
NOT recommended for skin application : because it contains Sassafras (safrole), an IFRA-restricted substance. If applied to skin, dilute heavily maximum 0.5% with a carrier oil; a 48-hour patch test is required.

Safety notes: IMPORTANT

🔴 THIS BLEND IS BEST USED THROUGH DIFFUSION AND STEAM INHALATION — not for general skin application. Reason: contains Sassafras with safrole >80%, a substance restricted by IFRA and banned in cosmetics in the EU/US due to cancer risk with prolonged skin contact.

For skin application: maximum 0.5% diluted (about 3 drops in 30ml carrier oil). Patch test on the inner wrist for 48 hours required. Do not apply to large areas of skin. Do not use for extended periods.

🚫 NEVER USE: pregnant and breastfeeding women (Sassafras safrole, Cypress thujone and Rosemary camphor are all phytoestrogenic/neurotoxic). People with epilepsy (Cypress thujone, Rosemary camphor and Thyme). Children under 12 years (from Sassafras safrole).

Safe for children aged 12 and over, diluted to a maximum of 0.3%, by diffusion only. People with high blood pressure or liver or kidney problems should use with caution. Keep out of reach of children.

Storage instructions

Shelf life: 24 months from the date of manufacture; 9 months after opening.

Store in a dry, dark place below 25°C. Avoid direct sunlight and high heat. Close the cap tightly after use and keep the bottle upright.
